TRANSISTENT MADNESS

An obsession with knitting.

This installation express the creative process behind Zero, the new knitted fabric developed for Sancal by Marie-Louise Rosholm specially designed for the Luca Nichetto’s Next Stop sofa.

Set design and performance for the Wallpaper exhibition in Milan design week 2019. As a part of STUDIO SANCAL we designed this installation to reflect the CREATIVE PROCESS, plagued with moments of ecstasy and profound insecurity, lucidity and madness. A knitted padded room was created to simbolice the concept of madness. Inside this cozy buy disturbing space, Betti Rollo moves between two different emotional states represented by the colors red and blue.

Project developed being a part of Sancal studio, with Elena and Esther Castaño as heads of the creative department.
