ALTERED NATURE
The photographic project that questions the absurd pursuit of perfection.
Images created to criticize society’s obsession with unattainable beauty standards. Through striking imagery inspired by beauty product ads, the project draws a parallel between human cosmetic interventions and "beauty treatments" applied to fruits and vegetables (like a shaved kiwi, a melon with anti-wrinkle cream, or a coconut dyeing its hair). With irony and visual wit, ALTERED NATURE challenges our perception of beauty and questions why we alter our natural essence to fit an artificial ideal.
